Cage-Free Dog Boarding
No crates required. Dogs have run of the main floor and the fenced backyard, and they sleep wherever they're most comfortable — often right next to us.
Boarding without bars.
Overview
Cage-free means exactly that: no crates, no runs, no concrete kennels. Your dog moves through the house and yard freely, joins us on the couch, and naps in whichever sunny spot they pick.
We carefully match guests with our resident dogs so play groups are calm and compatible. If your dog prefers solo time, that's fine too — there's plenty of space to decompress.
Who it's for
Friendly, house-trained dogs under 100 lbs who get along with other pups and do well off-leash in a home.
- Social dogs who love other dogs
- Dogs who already do well in the home and on furniture
- Owners who want their dog to come home tired, not stressed
- ×Dogs who guard food, toys, or resting spots
- ×Dogs who are reactive on-leash and don't recover quickly

How it works
- 1. Free consultation
We meet you and your dog in our home for about 30 minutes. You walk the space, see the yard, ask questions, and we watch how your dog settles in.
- 2. Reserve your dates
Once we've confirmed it's a fit, we hold your dates with a small deposit and send over a simple intake form covering food, meds, vet info, and routine.
- 3. Drop-off
Bring your dog, their food, and anything that smells like home. We'll do a final routine review and you're free to go — no long goodbyes needed.
- 4. Daily updates
Photo and text updates every day. Reach out anytime; we're happy to send more if you want them.
- 5. Pickup
Pick up a happy, exercised dog — or use our pickup & delivery service and we'll bring them home to you.

- Separation gates available for meal-time or nap-time privacy
What to bring

What if my dog has never been around others?
We use the free consultation to introduce slowly. If your dog is happier solo, we limit overlap during their stay.
Will my dog be on furniture?
Only if they're already allowed on yours. Tell us your house rules at the consultation and we'll keep them consistent.
Do you require a meet-and-greet?
Yes — every new client gets a free, no-pressure consultation. It's the only way for us (and your dog) to know it's the right fit.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes. We carry pet-care liability insurance and are happy to share details at your consultation.
What if my dog needs medication?
Oral meds, eye drops, ear drops, and most injectables are included at no extra charge. Just bring the meds with clear instructions.
Do you take intact dogs?
Intact females are welcome outside heat cycles. Intact males are evaluated on a case-by-case basis at the consultation.
