Where your dog actually stays.
Not a facility. Not a converted garage. A real Aurora family home, on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood, with a fenced yard that gets sun all day.
A walk through the home
The same spaces your dog will actually use — not a 'kennel area' separated from the family.
The main floor
Open access to the living room, kitchen, and sun room. Couches are allowed — most dogs claim one within an hour. Wood floors with rugs for traction.
The fenced yard
Fully enclosed 6ft cedar fence, ~1/4 acre, with mature shade trees, year-round fresh water, and direct access from the back door. Snow-melt safe surface.
Sleeping areas
Most dogs sleep in or near our bedroom. A separate quiet room is available for senior dogs, anxious dogs, or dogs who simply prefer space.
Kitchen & meals
Meals are hand-prepared with the food you bring, on your dog's schedule. Medication included. Raw and prescription diets handled the same way.
Sun room
South-facing room with a permanent dog bed in the sunbeam. The unofficial senior dog lounge.
Safety setup
Baby gates, no-tip water bowls, locked away cleaning supplies, escape-proof entryway with a double-door system.
The daily rhythm
Dogs settle faster when the day has a predictable shape. Here's what ours looks like.
