A free consultation before every first stay.
Twenty minutes in our home, no commitment. It's the single biggest predictor of a smooth first night — and the best way to know whether we're actually the right fit for your dog.
Call or send us your top three windows. Weekdays, evenings, and weekends all work — we usually confirm within a few hours.
Walk the main floor, see the fenced yard, meet Riley, and let your dog explore at their own pace.
Medication, special diets, behavior history, holidays, vet contacts, what-if scenarios. There are no wrong questions.
If we're a fit, we sketch a routine for your dog's stay. If we're not, we'll name a Denver boarder we'd trust ourselves.
Show up with these and we can hit the ground running.
- Vaccination records (rabies, DHPP, bordetella)
- Your dog — on leash, normal collar
- Any medication your dog currently takes
- Your dates and rough drop-off / pickup times
If you're not sure what to ask, start here.
- What does an average day look like here?
- How many dogs are on-site at once?
- Who is here overnight?
- What's your emergency plan and which vet do you use?
- How do you handle medication, special diets, or anxiety?
- Can you accommodate my dog's specific quirk (resource guarding, separation anxiety, fear of stairs, etc.)?
What we'll cover
A walkthrough of the home, a quiet test of your dog's comfort, and a candid conversation about fit.
The home tour
Living room, kitchen, sleeping areas, and the fenced backyard. We answer 'where exactly will my dog sleep?' on the spot.
The dog meet
Your dog meets Riley off-leash in the yard. We watch body language, play style, and recovery — and tell you what we see.
Medical & behavior intake
We walk through medications, diets, allergies, triggers, and routines so the first stay isn't a guessing game.
Schedule talk
We block tentative dates, explain deposits, and explain how holiday booking windows work.
The honest fit talk
If your dog isn't a fit for cage-free care, we say so — and recommend somewhere we'd trust.
No pressure
You leave with information. No deposit asked at the consultation. Book later, or don't.
When you should book the consult
For a holiday stay Book the consult 6–8 weeks ahead. Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks fill first.
For summer travel Two to four weeks ahead is usually enough. Earlier is safer in July.
For a normal weekend A few days is fine — but the consult still happens first.
Ready to book a stay?
Most new clients start with a free consultation. We meet your dog, show you the home, and answer every question.
